About the Certificate IV in Leadership and Management
Entry Requirement
While there are no entry requirements defined in the training package, International students entering this course at ACE, requires the following criteria to met:
- Applicants must be minimum 18 years of age at the time of commencement.
- Successful completion of Australian Equivalent Year 12 qualification or higer.
- IELTS score of 5.5 or PTE Academic score of 36 or equivalent.
- In addition, Applicants should have basic computer and MS Office skills.
- Successfully complete the LLND test administered by ACE
Assessment
Assessment will usually commence in the session following delivery. As this is a competency-based program, assessment continues throughout the program until the participant either achieves competency in the assessment tasks or a further training need is identified and addressed.

Participants are provided with advice on employment and training options throughout the delivery of the program (but no guarantees are implied or given).
Academic Pathways from the Qualification:
After achieving the BSB40520 Certificate IV in Leadership and Management, individuals could progress to the BSB50420 Diploma of Leadership and Management or to other Advanced Diploma courses within the business training package.
