Course Overview

​

This qualification reflects the role of individuals who apply specialised knowledge and skills, together with experience in leadership and management, across a range of enterprise and industry contexts. Individuals at this level use initiative and judgement to plan and implement a range of leadership and management functions, with accountability for personal and team outcomes within broad parameters.

Course Duration

52 Weeks including breaks where 42 weeks are classroom training.

Entry Requirement

 

As defined in the training package, entry to this qualification is limited to those who:

​

• Have completed a Diploma or Advanced Diploma from the BSB Training Package (current or superseded equivalent versions)

or

• Have two years equivalent full-time relevant workplace experience in an operational or leadership role in an enterprise.

​

International students entering this course at ACE, must meet the following criteria:

​

· Applicants must be minimum 18 years of age at the time of commencement

· Successful completion of Australian Equivalent Diploma qualification or higher.  

· IELTS score of 5.5 or PTE score of 36 or equivalent.

​

In addition, Applicants should have basic computer and MS Office skills (Word, Excel and Power Point). Successfully complete the LLN test administered by ACE.

Assessment

 

Assessment will usually commence in the session following delivery. As this is a competency-based program, assessment continues throughout the program until the participant either achieves competency in the assessment tasks or a further training need is identified and addressed

Academic Pathways from the qualification: After achieving BSB60420- Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management, individuals individuals could progress to Vocational Graduate Certificate qualifications or higher education degree course depending upon the invidividual universities' entry requirements.

 

Employment Pathways from the qualification: This qualification provides a pathway to work a senior managerial role with various Business settings. Possible job titles include:
